Hi, I'm Emily and I am a degree qualified nutritionist from Auckland, New Zealand.

I am a degree qualified nutritionist and soon to be naturopath and medical herbalist from Auckland, New Zealand. I have a huge passion for health and wellness, and despite my qualifications and Instagram, it hasn't always been that way.
As a kid, I was a bloody fussy eater. My stable food was french fries and chocolate, and life was great. Until puberty came along. My teenage years can be summed up in just a few words: Acne, weight gain and acne. Oh and horrific periods. From there it got worse. Anxiety, depression, polycystic ovarian syndrome, insulin resistance, cervical dysplasia, candida, and a stress induced premature ventricular ectopic heartbeat, just to top it off.
Yup, I've had my fair share of health issues. So why should you come and see me?
Because I've been through it. Because I know exactly what you're going through. Because I've come out the other side and because I have the knowledge to help you too.
I truely believe that the body has an amazing ability to heal itself, and if we listen to it and nourish it accordingly, we can restore our body to optimal health and overall wellbeing.
I'm human, I'm not perfect and I know you aren't either. I'm not going to put you on any crazy restrictive diet and I'm not going to give you any unrealistic advice. I understand that you are unique - your health, your lifestyle, and your beliefs. I will treat you accordingly to suit you as an individual.
I approach nutrition from a holistic perspective, and look to whole foods in order to nourish the mind, body and soul to complete health. In practice, I can provide you with a personalised nutrition plan, supplementation advice, breathing and meditation exercises, relaxation massage and exercise prescription to help you achieve total wellness. There is NEVER a one size fits all plan when it comes to your health.

WHAT I DO
I can help with a wide range of health issues, including digestive problems, allergies, stress and weight loss. I enjoy specialising in anxiety and women's health issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, irregular periods and PMS.
Despite what you may have heard, weight loss isn't just as simple as calories in vs. calories out. And if it was, my guess is you probably wouldn't be on my website and reading this right now. I approach weight loss by addressing many different factors, such as hormonal imbalance, lifestyle habits and digestive health.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Having been through Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome myself (I am now cyst and symptom free!), helping other women correct this issue is very close to my heart. I can help you with insulin resistance, absent or irregular menstrual cycles, excess hair growth, hair loss, acne, and weight gain - plus any other lovely symptoms associated with PCOS!
Anxiety and Stress
In the day and age that we live in, anxiety and stress is at an all time high. Having been through panic attacks and anxiety myself, I know how debilitating it can be, causing sick days, social isolation and an overall negative effect on your physical and emotional health. I understand what you're going through and I'm happy to listen. Through nutritional guidance, relaxation techniques, and supplementation, I can help you.
When our gut health isn't up to scratch, we can run into major health problems. Digestive health plays a huge role in our immune system (eczema, allergies, asthma, autoimmune disease etc), mental and emotional health (depression, anxiety), thyroid activity, irritable bowel syndrome and SO much more! Correcting microflora imbalance is a huge part of my work in order to restore clients to optimal health.

My job is to guide you to better health in every area of your life. I do this by helping you with lifestyle changes, goal setting, improving your confidence, and empowering you to bring about change.
Massage is a whole lot of pampering for your body, mind and soul, helping to combat stress and anxiety and increase your sense of overall wellbeing. Physical benefits also include improved circulation, increased lymphatic drainage, release of tension from tight muscles, improved sleep and increased immunity.
